These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern online sales on the website www.rivenil.com operated by the company MAISONS DES RIVES DU NIL, specialized in the online sale of clothing, fashion accessories, home linens, and decorative objects.

By confirming an order on the Site, the buyer (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer") accepts these terms without reservation.

2. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions aim to define the contractual relationship between the Seller and the Customer, and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the Seller's e-commerce website www.rivenil.com (hereinafter referred to as "the Site").

Under these Terms, the Customer agrees not to purchase products for resale, as defined in Article L 110-1 of the French Commercial Code.

The Customer must be at least 18 years old and legally capable or have parental authorization to place an order on the Site.

Placing an order on the Site implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. These terms prevail over any other general or specific conditions of the Customer.

The Seller reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. However, the applicable Terms are those in force at the time the order is placed.

These Terms and Conditions are the exclusive property of the Seller. Any reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited.

3. Orders

Orders must be placed online only. Creating a customer account is required to place an order. Orders may be placed from France or abroad. No minimum or maximum quantity is required. Some items may be available for pre-order, in which case delivery times are clearly stated at checkout.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are inclusive of taxes (VAT included) and exclude delivery charges, which are calculated at checkout. RIVE NIL reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the applicable price will be the one in effect at the time of the order.

4.2 Payment Methods

Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, or any other method offered on the Site. All payments are secure and protected using encryption technology.

4.3 Invoicing

A detailed invoice will be emailed to the Customer once the order is shipped.

5. Delivery

Products are shipped worldwide. Delivery times depend on the delivery address and the shipping method chosen by the Customer. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and destination of the order. In France, shipping is free for orders over €200.

6. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

In accordance with applicable laws, the Customer has 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to exercise their right of withdrawal, without needing to provide any reason or pay penalties.

To exercise this right, the Customer must contact RIVE NIL at contact.rivenil@gmail.com and return the products in their original condition within 14 days of notification. Return shipping costs are covered by RIVE NIL.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to customized products. RIVE NIL reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges if the products are not in their original condition or if the return period has expired.

7. Warranties

Products are covered by the legal guarantees of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

In case of non-conformity or defect, the Customer may request repair, replacement, or refund. For any claim or warranty request, please contact customer service at contact.rivenil@gmail.com.

8. Liability

RIVE NIL is responsible for the proper fulfillment of the contract and the delivery of the ordered products. However, it cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure or customer error (incorrect address, failure to collect package, etc.).

RIVE NIL is responsible for any delay, loss, or damage to the parcel.

RIVE NIL cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect, material or immaterial damage resulting from the use of its products.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is the exclusive property of RIVE NIL. Any reproduction or use without prior authorization is strictly prohibited.

10. Personal Data

RIVE NIL collects Customers’ personal data for order processing, customer relationship management, and, where applicable, for sending newsletters (with prior consent).

No data is shared with third parties for commercial purposes. The Site uses cookies to improve user experience.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users have the right to access, rectify, delete, and oppose the use of their personal data. Any request can be sent to: contact.rivenil@gmail.com.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact RIVE NIL first in order to seek an amicable solution.

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, all consumers may resort free of charge to a consumer mediator for amicable resolution of a dispute with a professional.

The list of approved mediators is available on the Consumer Mediation website. Alternatively, the Customer may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform:

A mediation request may be refused if:

The Customer has not previously attempted to resolve the issue directly with RIVE NIL;

The request is manifestly unfounded or abusive;

The dispute has already been reviewed or is being reviewed by another mediator or court;

The request was filed more than one year after the initial written complaint to RIVE NIL;

The dispute falls outside the scope of the mediator’s competence.

If no amicable solution is found, or if the Customer does not opt for mediation, the courts of the jurisdiction of the registered office of MAISONS DES RIVES DU NIL shall have exclusive competence.

12. Fraud Prevention

RIVE NIL reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of suspected fraud, doubtful identity, or payment authorization refusal.

13. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

RIVE NIL reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time the order is placed.
